Kirsten is a visual journalist based in Denver, CO. She is most passionate about projects that create or contribute to greater discussions of complex social issues. Kirsten has been selected for the prestigious Eddie Adams Workshop and New York Times Portfolio Reviews, and was nominated for Joop Swart Masterclass. Her work has been shown in photo exhibits around the world, including Photoville, International Photo Festival Leiden and International Festival of Photography FOTOFESTIWAL. Kirsten also worked on the documentary film, Hondros, about the late photojournalist Chris Hondros, which premiered at Tribeca Film Festival in 2017. 

Kirsten is currently working on a documentary film project under the mentorship of Ed Kashi and James Estrin, and is available for assignments and collaborations. Clients include The New York Times, The Atlantic, Vogue Italia, Bloomberg, NPR, Stern and BuzzFeed News.
